Mr. Raynaud served as the Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice-President and Member of the Office of the President of SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. from 2013 to 2016. He also served as Chief Financial Officer of Areva SA from 2006 to 2011 and was subsequently named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Areva UK. Mr. Raynaud was previously Senior Vice President and Global Controller of Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. He also is the former Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller of Renault SA.

He began his career as a Financial Analyst and Head of the Italian subsidiary of the Worms Bank, before moving to Renault in 1987, where he served as Head of Financial Operations, Cost Control Director and Member of the Management Committee. In 2003 he moved to Japan as a member of the Executive Committee of Nissan, where he was in charge of the Cost Control and IT Services Departments and of the group's financial operations (mergers and acquisitions). He graduated from the Institut d'Études Politiques in Paris, France and has a Doctorate in Economics.
